An Embedded System based design object as a Quantified Self Companion

Self-tracking can hardly be separated from the smartphone these days: Through apps, the results of self-tracking are presented in an informative way, but the connection between data and sense of self is pushed into the background. How can the interaction between the person and their data be designed to prevent this disconnect? How can the sense of self become part of the consideration again? This paper explores the background of self-tracking and human computer interaction in order to present a system that connects self-tracking data and sense of self.
